About Christi Roquemore-Gordy

Christi Roquemore-Gordy is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Texas A&M University in College Station as well as a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Women’s University in the Texas Medical Center. Her Masters in Nursing was completed at Simmons University in Boston and she is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in Primary Care. She is also certified in National Acupuncture Detoxification Association (NADA)/acudetox; a technique used as adjunct therapy for addictions, mental health, and stress and trauma.

The Acudetox protocol began in 1972 and uses a 5 point auricular (ear) acupuncture during a series of treatments with a group or individually in a serene atmosphere. Many clients find it easier to handle side effects of withdrawal and to think more clearly instead of reacting to cravings.
