Epi+Gen CHD™ Test
With CHD Test, Early Prevention of Coronary Heart Disease is Priceless.
Preventing heart disease with CHD test can improve health outcomes and reduce the burden. By controlling risk factors such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and smoking, individuals can reduce their risk of developing CHD and its complications, including heart attack and stroke.
CHD Risk Blood Test With Epi+Gen CHD™
Coronary heart disease (CHD) is the most known type of heart disease, and the main cause of heart attacks. Epi+Gen CHD™ is a patent-pending Next Generation test that evaluates your near-term (3-year) risk for a heart attack.
It is the first and only clinical test for coronary heart disease primary prevention that offers personalized insights based on two types of DNA biomarkers unique to you – genetic and epigenetic.
A healthy diet, regular physical activity, and avoiding harmful substances can also help prevent CHD. Early detection and management of the cardiovascular system by taking CHD risk blood tests and regular health check-ups can also improve outcomes.
Knowing your risk is the first step toward prevention. Take care and control of your heart health today with Epi+Gen CHD™!
Reduce The Risk Of Heart Attack
Reduce your risk of sudden heart attack by taking Epi+Gen CHD™. Blood tests can help diagnose and monitor coronary heart disease (CHD) by measuring markers of inflammation, cholesterol levels, and markers of organ damage.
What Can Cause CHD?
High levels of certain lipids, such as LDL cholesterol, can indicate an increased risk of CHD, while high levels of markers such as troponin can indicate heart muscle damage.
A CHD test can also help determine if treatment for CHD, such as lifestyle changes or medications, is effective. By regularly monitoring these markers, healthcare providers can make informed decisions about your health and treatment plan.
Coronary Heart Disease Is More Than Just Genetics
Your genetic mark up isn’t the only basis for the possibility of suffering from CHD.
Epi+Gen CHD™ analyzes and determines your epigenetic DNA biomarkers. Epigenetics also show how lifestyle and environment can influence your heart health, offering a more holistic estimate of your three-year risk for coronary heart disease.
Factors That Can Cause CHD
There are non-genetic factors that can contribute to the development of Coronary Heart Disease (CHD), including:
- Lifestyle factors – Unhealthy diet, physical inactivity, smoking, excessive alcohol consumption, and stress can increase the risk of CHD.
- Medical conditions – High blood pressure, high cholesterol, obesity, and diabetes can increase the risk of CHD.
- Environmental factors – Exposure to air pollution, environmental tobacco smoke, and second-hand smoke can increase the risk of CHD.
- Socioeconomic factors – Low socio-economic status, low education, and unemployment can increase the risk of CHD.
- Ethnicity: People of South Asian, African, or Afro-Caribbean origin have a higher risk of CHD compared to other populations.
Highly Sensitive Early Risk Evaluation
We study your unique DNA biomarker data through our highly sensitive, proprietary Artificial Intelligence algorithms to detect your likelihood of having a coronary heart disease event in the next 3 years.
What is Early Risk Evaluation For CHD?
Early risk evaluation for coronary heart disease involves assessing factors that increase a person’s likelihood of developing the condition. These include:
- Age
- Family history of heart disease
- Smoking
- High blood pressure
- High cholesterol levels
- Physical inactivity
- Obesity
- Type 2 diabetes
- Stress
With Epi+Gen CHD™, early detection and management of risk factors can help prevent or delay the onset of coronary heart disease.
Who is eligible to take Epi+Gen CHD™?
Our CHD risk blood test is designed for individuals over the age of 35 who want to know their heart health and in determining their risk for coronary heart disease. Epi+Gen CHD™ is not suitable for:
- People whose age fall below 35 years
- Have already been diagnosed with coronary heart disease.
- Have had any cardiac surgeries or heart attacks.
- Diagnosis of angina (discomfort or feeling of heaviness in the arm, chest, jaw, shoulder), especially with exerted physical efforts.
- Have had an abnormal cardiac stress assessment /evaluation.
If you want to take our CHD test but are unsure about any of the listed above, feel free to contact us and we will work with getting you a certified medical representative to see if you qualify.
